EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND DEDICATION MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

Experience

With more than 150 years of combined experience we have handled thousands of disability claims. We are a local firm with offices in four Kentucky locations including Bowling Green, Elizabethtown, Hopkinsville, and Louisville. Most of our clients live in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee. However, we are also a nationwide firm, as we have represented hundreds of clients living in states from coast-to-coast.

We have represented hundreds of military personnel in the Army Wounded Warrior (AW2) program. These cases take special attention as sometimes the Social Security judges are not familiar with the unique rules and regulations pertaining to these disability claims.

Furthermore, state and private agencies have trusted MSA to represent their clients. We have represented hundreds of children for the Commonwealth of Kentucky in Fostercare and Kinshipcare. Also, we have worked closely with several private agencies to represent disability claim referrals.

In addition to the experience we have at the first three administrative levels, we have a considerable amount of experience assisting with appeals to the Appeals Council. We have screened and written briefs on hundreds of cases at the Appeals Council level.

TRAINING

Our legal professionals are Accredited Disability Representatives (ADR). Accredited Disability Representatives are Qualified, Tested, and Approved by the Social Security Administration. They have completed the requirements under P.L. 111-142 (The Social Security Disability Applicants' Access to Professional Representation Act of 2010). Each year we spend thousands of dollars toward continuing education and training in the specialized field of Social Security disability law.

Additionally, we are members of the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR) . NADR is a professional organization established to serve its membership of experienced disability representatives in the area of professional education and political action, and to maintain and enhance the skills of the membership. NADR has had several Legislative accomplishments including passage of the Social Security Protection Act of 2004. Robert McDowell, the founder and chief executive officer of McDowell, Stromatt & Associates, was formly the president of the NADR (National Association of Disability Representatives).

DEDICATION

It is our goal to win benefits as soon as possible. We will do our best to see that your disability claim is processed by SSA without delay. Unfortunately, due to the millions of disability claims filed annually and the backlog of cases at SSA, the process never seems quick enough. Many individuals are in urgent need of disability benefits before a claim is filed. While SSA is a very large federal agency, sometimes the high volume of disability claims can be overwhelming. Nevertheless, SSA tries to process claims as soon as it can. It is to your advantage to cooperate fully with SSA and assist in providing the information needed for making a proper determination or decision about your case. Sometimes the smallest of things, which could be prevented, can delay a claim. For instance, one of the more common mistakes made by claimants is the failure to update SSA about changes to their address and phone number. Understanding SSA's rules, regulations, and processes, we do our best to assist and guide you in the right direction. At your request, we will help you before the claim is filed or at any point during the administrative process. We are dedicated to getting you the benefits you deserve.

We have dedicated ourselves to focus all of our attention and expertise only on Social Security disability claims and SSI disability claims.
